Hurricane Irene downgraded as she travelled north up the East coast. When arriving in NY’s Hudson Valley the now tropical storm left flooding and power outages in her wake. Hey an earthquake and tropical storm in 10 days… major drama! I’m glad to report that Windy Hill kept us safe and sound through it all.
This Weeks Ashworthy Mention: As Sue and I were running this week on River Road, a horrid metal on tarmac noise came alarmingly towards us. I, holding on to Sue for dear life and pushing her into a field saw a tire racing past her with sparks coming out of it. The car came to a halt but non-the-less scared the living bejeebers out of us. A death defying run!
